Something New

I don’t know if you have heard but Jewelry in Candles merged with another company. In a way, this was quite helpful. I was quite behind on my quota so I would have had to buy more candles in order to keep going. I was a little upset though because I truly enjoyed the products and loved having several candles in my closet for last minute gifts.

I really enjoyed the jewelry too! I was never a jewelry girl but it felt nice to get dressed up a little bit. So, I started thinking of other ways to get involved.

I started making my own earrings (which I hope to make some to sell soon) plus I joined Paparazzi. Five-dollar accessories for people who can’t afford more expensive things. I can’t wait to get my kit and start showing it off!

Below are some pieces that I might be getting in. If you are interested, feel free to contact me or check out my Facebook page of pieces that I currently have for sale or you could check out my Paparazzi website too.

Onto New Things

Wow – life has a way of going too fast. What started as taking a month off from writing posts turned into several. I don’t know how I got so behind in my writing!

Summer just flew by. I barely did anything that I wanted to with the boys. Playdates with friends, time swimming in the pool, just staying home and playing. Now, the boys are in school already and I have no idea where the summer went.

One good thing about school is that I finally have time for myself. I started a long list of things that I will finally have time to do around the house. I can also get caught up on my blogging here, as well as focus on catching up on bills.

Here is to a full and productive first month of school (plus the boys’ first day of school picture)!

I hope that you are enjoying this month and have set some goals for yourself.

Available In Paperback – Freelance Writing

As I continue to publish some of my ebooks into paperbacks, I thought my next one should be about freelance writing.

I am very proud to be able to work from home and can’t believe that I can be paid to write. I think that everyone should be able to find something that they love to do and make money with it. That is a great feeling.

For this reason, I am proud to have Work From Home: Freelance Writing available on Amazon as an ebook and a paperback. Check it out today if you want to make money in your spare time at home!

Available In Paperback – Working With Children

I have decided to do a trial period by publishing a few of my ebooks as paperbacks. Though exciting, this is a bit costly to do so we will see how it works out before I publish too many of them!

The next book that I decided to publish as a paperback is Work From Home: Working with Children. I am really proud of this book because, as a parent, I know how hard it can be to work from home when they are all around. And now – I have a puppy going stir crazy in the house too! Rainy days (which look like they might last all week) is going to be bad for my productivity!

But, anyway, if you are struggling to work around your children, check out this book on Amazon in ebook form or as a paperback!

Available in Paperback – Can You Do It All?

I have been told that the way to make money with books is using CreateSpace. Createspace allows you to sell your books as paperbacks. The best part – you don’t have to buy a whole bunch. Instead, they print them out as you need them.

CreateSpace has their own place to sell books, though most people sell them on Amazon along with their kindle version.

I had to try this so my ebook is now for sale on paperback.

If you are overwhelmed by trying to do it all, check Work From Home: Can You Do It All? on Amazon as an ebook or paperback book!

Getting Reviewed!

So, I recently decided that, instead of spending money on advertising my books, I would work hard to get some reviews. I spent some money on Fiverr trying to get some reviews as well as asking people on Twitter. I paid for several before I found something even better!

I found a Facebook group where you can swap reviews. So, I would get a book for free and they would get mine. We would both get a good review. I didn’t have many books for free so I then repriced my books so that they were ninety-nine cents. I swapped several reviews and then someone had one priced at two dollars and ninety-nine cents and we reviewed each others.

I really enjoyed this and I think that I will continue to do this.

Anyone else want to review my book?
